Founder, HighGravityData
Research in complex adaptive systems, AI/ML, and decision-making under uncertainty.
Explainable, decision-first portfolio intelligence across markets.

Why this exists
HighGravityData is built on a single observation:
Markets are rich with data, but poor in decision clarity.
- - overwhelm with analysis
- - reduce everything to prediction
Neither resolves the core problem.
What should I own, avoid, or change—right now?
HighGravityData exists to bring structure to that decision.
Background
My work sits at the intersection of data science, complex adaptive systems, and decision-making under uncertainty.
Over the past two decades, I have worked across research and applied research environments.
My focus has been on how intelligent systems learn, adapt, and translate information into action.
My academic work centered on cognitive systems, learning dynamics, and the structure of adaptive behavior. That foundation extends naturally into modern AI/ML systems and how they operate within complex, evolving environments.
Markets can be understood through the same lens:
- - as complex adaptive systems
- - shaped by interaction, feedback, and regime change
- - not static datasets to be optimized
Across domains, the pattern is consistent:
Data is abundant.
Structure is missing.
Decisions remain unclear.
What HighGravityData is
HighGravityData is a systematic approach to portfolio decision-making across asset classes.
It does not attempt to predict outcomes.
It structures decisions.
The system emphasizes:
- - interpretable signals
- - consistent cross-asset frameworks
- - decision-ready outputs
Each report answers a small number of questions:
What is working?
What is deteriorating?
What deserves capital?
The objective is not more analysis.
It is better decisions.
Philosophy
The system is built on a small set of principles:
Explainability over complexity
Systems that cannot be understood cannot be trusted.
Consistency over prediction
Coherent decisions matter more than isolated correct forecasts.
Structure over noise
Markets generate signals continuously. Most are not useful.
Decisions over analysis
Analysis is only valuable if it changes action.
Closing
HighGravityData is an evolving system.
It is not built to be complete.
It is built to be consistent, transparent, and useful over time.
The goal is not prediction.
It is disciplined decision-making under uncertainty.
